Member compliance & referral readiness survey
Answer honestly, including where requirements are not yet in place. This check is designed to support your business growth. Select Not applicable where a requirement does not apply to your business or professional practice.
Your answers will be recorded in the platform immediately. A Yes answer is a member declaration; new evidence must be reviewed by BNI Ghana before it counts as verified.
Thank you. Your submission has been received.
Your answers are now in the platform. BNI Ghana will review new or changed supporting evidence and support you in closing any gaps.
Building businesses others can confidently recommend
The BNI Ghana Business Compliance Check is an essential referral-readiness tool for members. It strengthens referral confidence, helps identify operational risks and guides targeted training and support.
Referral readiness and member development
Compliance is not a prerequisite for BNI membership. This system helps members build confidence in referrals and prepare for opportunities with businesses of every size. Completing the check and meeting the compliance standard are separate measures. Members with gaps are encouraged and supported to improve.
Members should respond honestly, even where documents are missing. BNI Ghana and the chapter are here to support business growth without judgment.
Annual review cycle
Certificates use an April-to-April renewal cycle. The selected year is the starting April; renewal is due by 30 April of the following year. For example, April 2026–April 2027 certificates are valid through 30 April 2027. A new cycle follows the April deadline. BNI Ghana’s review cycle does not change a business’s statutory filing deadline.
Certificate criteria
Each of the first eight requirements must be either Satisfied with verified evidence, or marked Not applicable. Not applicable items count as met and do not require an evidence tick. Missing, unassessed and pending review items prevent full certification. Progress certificates recognise all members at 20% or above: 2–3 of 8 (25%–37.5%, Building compliance), 4 of 8 (50%), or 5–7 of 8 (60%+ Progressing). They show exact percentages and list outstanding core requirements. With eight equally weighted criteria, the first attainable score above 20% is 25%. Scores below 20% do not qualify for a certificate. The remaining five items are tracked separately and do not block the certificate.
Certificates confirm BNI Ghana’s assessment for the stated April-to-April cycle, with renewal due by 30 April. They are not a government licence, statutory certification or guarantee of a business’s financial standing. A later change that fails a core requirement removes current certificate eligibility.
Information is shared only with members and potential business or referral partners on a need-to-know basis. Annual summary reports omit evidence links and detailed financial or credit information. Reports are downloaded or printed for manual sharing; this platform does not send them automatically.
